‘Kingdom Women Workshops’
The Women in White will host “Kingdom Women Workshops” from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 30 at Hope Christian Fellowship, 13320 state Route 7, East Liverpool. Workshop topics include “God Is Love,” Lisa Moore Smith, East Liverpool; “Achieving Your God-Given Potential,” Marie Heard, Cleveland, and Pastor Brenda Johnson, East Liverpool; “Warning Signs of Gaslighting,” Daryl Hersh, East Palestine; and “Learning To Hear God’s Voice,” Shannon Peachey, East Liverpool. Music will be provided by Lauren Bryson, East Liverpool; and Debbie Tucker and Lakeshia Tucker of Beaver Falls, Pa. Guest speaker is Tina Mike, New Cumberland, W.Va. ‘Let’s Discuss’ program
The East Liverpool Carnegie Public Library will host its first “Let’s Discuss” program, featuring a discussion of homelessness in the area, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday. This discussion will be led by Lisa Smith, co-pastor of Grace City Church and outreach coordinator at The House of Grace Resource Center. She has a heart and passion for the “least of these” – those who struggle with housing insecurities and poverty, and are typically overlooked by the general population.
