Rev. Nancy M. Raabe, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church Hatfield, is the keynote speaker this year for the Theological Convocation of the ELCA Southwest Pennsylvania Synod. The meeting is October 9-11 at the Antiochian Village Conference and Retreat Center in the Laurel Highlands.
Pastor Raabe will be preaching at the Opening Eucharist and leading several sessions on the topic “Renewing Worship From Within.” Her presentations will include worship and liturgical music demonstrations, including some of her own compositions. Her sessions will illustrate how to keep the church’s worship life energized and evolving, while remaining committed to Lutheran traditions and resources.
Pastor Raabe is the president of the 2000-member Association of Lutheran Church Musicians.
