Obituary for Vary Blaine Dobson Sanders, Humphrey, AR – Arkansas Online

Mary Blaine Dobson Sanders, 84, of Humphrey left this world peacefully to her heavenly home Friday, Sept. 8, 2023. She was born Jan. 14, 1939, to Francis and Etta Dobson and was raised in Humphrey and attended school there. Mary Blaine and Bobby Ed Sanders were married in 1954 and shared 54 wonderful years together. Her survivors are four children to share special memories of her, Steve Sanders, Teddy Sanders (Lily), Diana Gibson and Regina Donaldson. Mary also had seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Bobby Ed Sanders, her parents, Francis and Etta Dobson; four brothers, Pete, F.A., Jerry and Gary; and two grandsons, Teddy Sanders and Jeremiah Claggett. Mary was of the Pentecost faith. She loved listening to gospel music, watching cooking channels and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed taking long rides through country roads seeing the beauty of nature. She will be missed by many family and friends and her best friends, Nelly McBee and Maude Powell. The family wishes to thank Baptist Health Hospice and Ricci Lynn and Glenn Persons for their care of your mama. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday at Turpin Funeral Home with funeral services, officiated by Gerald David Paul, following at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Flynn Cemetery.
