Bill and Veronica Winston, along with Bill Winston Ministries, are hosting their 29^th Annual International Faith Conference (IFC) in Forest Park, Illinois, September 10 – 15, 2023. For six days, world-renowned speakers and musical artists will impact the lives of men, women and young people on the campus of Living World Christian Center and online, by reconnecting them with and elevating their faith. Thousands of attendees – in-person and online – are anticipated to participate in the six-day conference.

The conference will begin on Sunday, September 10 at 6:00 p.m. at Living World Christian Center, located at 7600 W. Roosevelt Road in Forest Park, Illinois.  Monday through Friday the conference starts at 7:00 p.m. (CST). The conference is free and open to the public.

The president of the United Auto Workers union is taking a tough stance against General Motors, Ford, and Stellantis. His members seem to like it.
The union plans to hold targeted strikes at certain U.S. auto factories if it can’t reach new labor deals with Detroit automakers by late Thursday.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The United Auto Workers union may opt to strike targeted auto plants if they fail to reach new contracts with the Detroit Three automakers before a Thursday night deadline, sources told Reuters on Tuesday. UAW President Shawn Fain has vowed to call strikes at General Motors, Ford Motor and Chrysler-parent Stellantis if no deal is reached when the current four-year labor deals covering 146,000 U.S. workers expire on Thursday at 11:59 p.m. ET (0359 GMT Friday). The UAW is considering initially targeting only some specific plants for work stoppages at the three Detroit automakers, two sources briefed on the matter said, adding the strike plan could still change.
The United Auto Workers union is bending on its pay-increase demands, with recent proposals asking for a mid-30% raise, rather than the 40% increase the union initially targeted. The union is negotiating new four-year labor contracts with Ford Motor General Motors and Jeep-maker Stellantis The current contracts expire at 11:59 p.m. ET Thursday, and the UAW has said workers could strike all three companies if tentative agreements aren’t reached by then. Union negotiators recently offered proposals that include a mid-30% wage increase, and the sides have exchanged multiple offers in recent days, according to people familiar with the talks.
The UAW is pressing for more work-life balance during contract talks, while the automakers want better attendance and increased use of temporary workers.
More than 140,000 UAW members are threatening to walk off the job on Friday unless Detroit automakers agree to their demands.
